Dr. Edie Williams will be joining us on Monday as the Director of Creativity and Innovation with the APEX Team. After a 25-year career in the Navy, Dr. Williams joined the staff of Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering as a consultant.  Her most notable involvement was as with the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Task Force where she played a key role in the manufacture and deployment of over 27,000 life-saving MRAPs.  Dr. Williams' strengths in strategic planning, Congressional affairs, program review, and financial management have also been used to support the Defense Laboratories Office, STEM Program Office, the Office of Net Technical Assessment and the Defense Science Board as a Program Manager and Lead Analyst.
