Mr. Lloyd Fields is a senior executive with thirty-plus years of experience managing operations and growth for small manufacturing technology companies serving engineering and manufacturing related markets. Lloyd is presently Vice President for Technical Directions Inc. – a Kratos company, a defense contractor providing systems, platforms, and products for national security. He most recently served as CEO for a small additive manufacturing company. He oversaw the companies’ customer facing and operations functions and was the principal in charge of the federal business development activities.

Lloyd previously was President of a software company offering visual search and supply chain solutions to the Department of Defense and commercial engineering and manufacturing companies. Lloyd is a graduate of General Electric’s Manufacturing Management Program. He went on from GE to manage Asia Pacific technical services and sales for a large publicly traded software company (SDRC). Since the successful exit of a venture backed engineering/manufacturing software technology company in 2003 where he was CEO, Lloyd served as Vice President of the Federal Business Unit for the world’s largest Additive Manufacturing company, Morris Technology, for metal parts production. Lloyd is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He holds an M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. As a past Board President for DaytonDefense, he currently serves as chair for the DaytonDefense Ex-Officio board and supports the association’s manufacturing initiatives. Lloyd is also an advisory board member for BHDP, a privately held international architecture firm.
