Corporate Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Growth Strategy 

Wanda Gamble serves as ORAU’s corporate vice president of business development and growth strategy. In this role, she oversees corporate growth strategy, business development and the sales life cycle to include, pricing, proposal activities, marketing and capture planning activities, while also managing the staff to help deliver profitable, sustainable and meaningful work. 

Gamble has more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, operations, sales, business development and customer relationship management in the social and life sciences, health and technology industries. Prior to joining ORAU, Gamble was vice president for business development in the Health and Analytics Business Unit of Battelle Memorial Institute. She was recipient of the Battelle Energy and Health Global Business President’s Award in 2013 and the Jeannette Rankin Foundation “Smart Women” Award in 2017. 

Gamble received a bachelor’s degree in government from Auburn University and a master’s degree in telecommunications and business management from Golden Gate University. She is a Health Information Management and Systems Society Fellow (FHMISS).  

Gamble has served on the boards of nonprofits, to include, Calvary Women Services in Washington, DC, (Development Committee Chair), the Health Information Management & Systems Society (HIMSS), National Capital Area (NCA) and currently serves as Vice President, on the board of the Educational Charitable Foundation (ECF), the nonprofit charitable, foundation and partner of Lambda Kappa Omega Chapter (LKO) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  (AKA).  Additionally, she serves on the Diversity Council for ORAU.
