Parallax Advanced Research Awarded Contract for GEOCOG


On May 6, 2024, Parallax Advanced Research was awarded a contract to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) GEOCOG program, titled “Mapping the Human Element of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) — Optimizing Analytic Workflow by Assessing Behavioral and Cognitive States.” As a subcontractor to Hughes Research Laboratories (HRL), Parallax is leveraging its expertise to enhance the performance and effectiveness of geospatial intelligence analysts through real-time cognitive and behavioral assessment.

Project Timeline


September 1, 2022:

Phase one of the GEOCOG project begins, focusing on real-time assessment of geospatial intelligence analyst performance.


August 31, 2023:

Completion of Phase one.


September 1, 2023:

Phase two starts, continuing the development and application of cognitive assessment technologies.


August 31, 2024:

Project is scheduled to conclude with continued evaluation and optimization.
