As of mid-November, the Federal Aviation Administration counted more than 506,000 registered commercial drones and more than 1.2 million registered recreational drones. Those numbers — which don’t include unregistered traffic — are expected to only grow. With that growth, someone needs to help keep track of what’s up there.
