As a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit business, Parallax Advanced Research is committed to supporting small businesses to achieve further development to enhance the economic growth of the Dayton and Miami Valley regions. Parallax believes small businesses are flexible, creative, and, most importantly, dedicated to providing advanced economic and innovative change, which is why we strategically partner with small businesses to meet our clients' needs.


Our small business goals

Parallax sets aside opportunities for small businesses whenever possible and is required by Federal Acquisition Regulations to take necessary steps to assure opportunities for subcontracts and subawards are available to small businesses and other socioeconomic classifications, such as veteran-owned, women-owned, and small disadvantaged businesses. Parallax is required to set small business goals for subcontracting under federal contracts exceeding $700,000.

Parallax builds relationships with local Dayton Area small businesses through its science and technology enhancement programs. Additionally, Parallax offers networking, small business capability briefings, strategizing for potential partnering opportunities, and promotes as well as attends outreach events. Even if Parallax doesn’t do business with your small firm, we are committed to providing support and mentorship wherever possible.

Parallax is also committed to providing small businesses with the informative resources needed to help their further advancement. The following local and national organizations are dedicated to assisting small businesses with starting, growing, and sustaining their businesses.
