Dayton and Brook Park, OH – Parallax Advanced Research and its affiliate, the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI), both private aerospace and defense research nonprofits that specialize in fostering collaboration between government, industry, and academia to advance critical aerospace and defense technologies, today announced William Mamourieh joins the company as senior vice president for Strategic Outreach and Technology-Based Partnerships. Mamourieh, a U.S. Air Force veteran, brings nearly 30 years of executive experience in program and personnel management, with a strong background in engineering, scientific methods, data evaluation systems, and security in support of mission objectives.

As Senior Vice President for Strategic Outreach and Technology-Based Partnerships at Parallax/OAI, Mamourieh will develop strategic partnerships with government, industry, and academia and lead initiatives to identify and pursue strategic opportunities for collaboration and innovation that focus on technology-driven solutions that advance national security, aerospace research, and scientific exploration. He will also develop and implement outreach strategies, secure partnerships, and ensure alignment with Parallax/OAI’s mission to accelerate technological advancements and expand its impact across both public and private sectors.

Mamourieh is a 22+ year U.S. Air Force veteran and brings decades of executive program and personnel management expertise across engineering, acquisition, and global mission-focused initiatives as well as an extensive track record of leading multi-billion-dollar aerospace and defense programs.
Most recently, Mamourieh supported the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Strategic Partnering and Small Business Directorate’s. He brings a wealth of acquisition knowledge and deployed operational experience serving in multiple Combatant Commands, Major Commands, Numbered Air Forces, and HQ Air Force.
