Parallax Advanced Research is a “Dayton Business Journal (DBJ) 2021 Best Places to Work” honoree. The award, announced in June, had four categories: micro (10 to 24 employees); small (25 to 49 employees); medium (50 to 199 employees); and large (200-plus employees). Parallax received the honor in the medium category and ranked 5th place out of 17 in the medium-sized company category. There are 37 total companies named as honorees in 2021.

The DBJ assesses companies based on staff engagement, team effectiveness, manager effectiveness and other workplace best practices. Surveys reflecting these assessment points are sent to employees. The results of the employee surveys are then tallied, and the companies are ranked within each size category.

Parallax CEO Dennis Andersh received the award at the reception held at Air Ballpark, home to the Dayton Dragons, on Tuesday Aug. 10.

“Congratulations to all of you for our recognition as one of Dayton’s Best Places to Work! Given we are less than one year old and many of you are new to Parallax, this says a lot about our team and our ability to collectively work together from offices across the U.S. Congratulations to all honorees and to each category winner!” said Dennis Andersh, CEO & President of Parallax Advanced Research.
